This could have gone here or in science, but given the heavy emphasis on Intelligent Design and the Discovery Institute it seemed more suitable here.

Someone in another thread in this forum recently suggested that some of us believe the bible because that’s what the bible says, some of us believe the scientists because that’s what scientists say. That couldn’t be further from the truth. I don’t believe a thing anyone says, I accept what they can demonstrate, but that’s a hard concept to understand for some so this is an effort to explain the difference. At least as well as a short video can do. If there’s any questions, shoot. I won’t have all the answers but I might have a couple and I’ll be honest if I don’t.
