I have been doing some reading up for my upcoming and read that it is "impossible" to effectively use pc fans and any type of carbon filter–something to the effect the pc fan is not designed to pull the air through.

Possible or not?

The smell kind of decommissioned me for about 7 months and I would to hear if anyone has had success using a PC and DIY carbon filter? And what type of filter design did you use.
